Village Hall
As well as hosting many community functions, the Village Hall is available for hire to residents of Bucknell as well as individuals and organisations from outside of the parish.
Children’s birthday parties are normally restricted to residents of Bucknell unless written agreement is obtained from the committee.

The main hall measures 12 x 6m and at one end has a raised stage. The stage can be accessed independently from the main hall and from both sides.
There is an entrance lobby containing a small bar with a sink unit. The ladies, gents and the disabled toilet are all in the lobby.
The side extension off the main hall is used for storage of folding tables, 86 upholstered stacking chairs and several plastic chairs.
The kitchen is equipped with double sink and drainer, a single oven, separate hob, a refrigerator, freestanding urn, three kettles, and a hostess trolley. 80 dinner & dessert plates and bowls with cutlery are also available.
Heating to the venue is from a combination of thermostatically controlled radiators and medium wave infra-red heaters

Audio Visual
A fully equipped sound and vision system with a screen is available for use and has a remote controlled OHP, DVD Blu-Ray player & a Freeview box. The system also has a remote connection for other peripheral equipment e.g. Laptop computer. The sound system also has a built-in induction loop system for hearing aids.
